During the first week of September I visited Norway as one of the artists participating in the Lofoten Sound Art Symposium (LSAS) and Residency. As part of the evening programme I performed with my self-made instruments:
LSAS is part of the international network Sound Disturbance
started by MUU, C-Y ContemporarY and the North Norwegian Art Centre
(NNKS). Lofoten Sound Art Symposium is the third in a series of Nordic
sound art events begun in 2016-2018.
From May until the end of July I have worked in DordtYart as one of their Artists in Residence. During this working period I have experimented and developed some new instruments, composition display methods, I have organised an instrument building workshop and during the finissage I have performed a new (adaptation of) a sound-piece with visuals by Alex van Giersbergen (wtf0.nl).
